MINI CLUBS
We are always looking for ways to bring our members together. Though each base may come with a sea of unfamiliar faces, the spirit and camaraderie that goes with being a military spouse remains unchanged. As people come and go, the dynamics of each group change, but the friendships created within them endure. If you have an idea for a new club then we'd love to hear from you! But in the meantime please read about all of our exciting opportunities below...we can't wait to see you there!
(Mini-clubs generally run from Sep-May)
Bunco Club | This is a fun group of spouses who love to play bunco, chat, and eat yummy snacks! Anyone can join at anytime— come join the fun!
MEETING TIME: 4th WEDNESDAY | 10:00am-12:00pm

Coffee & Conversation | The Coffee Club is for espresso lovers and caffeine addicts looking for a latte fun! Join us as we venture to different cafes in our area. Try a new drink and meet friends along the way. Little ones are welcome!

Lunch Bunch | We will plan various outings; some may include meals, others may be a tour, nature hike, museum visits, etc. We meet on the third Thursday of each month. Take a mid-week break with your friends from SSC— we can't wait for the good times that this year has to offer!

Film Fanatics | We are a fun group of spouses who enjoy seeing movies. Our general meeting date is the first Tuesday of each month, and we usually enjoy the newly remodeled Marcus Theatres O'Fallon Cinema. We vote on which film to see, and we typically attend the first showing of the day.

Secret Pal Gift Exchange | If you love to give and receive gifts, this mini-club is for you! You will each be secretly matched with a Secret Pal and bring a wrapped gift at each monthly program. At the end of the session we will have a big reveal party (so much fun)! Gifts will be $15-$20 per month, plus an additional gift for the reveal party. There will be (2) sessions this year:

September – December | Reveal party in January.

February – May | Reveal party end of May.
Please fill out the Secret Pal Form and email to Kara to participate. (Be as specific as possible to help your pal shop for you!) Deadline for forms for first session is September 5th. Deadline for forms for second session is February 6th.

Book Club | We are a relaxed group of spouses who enjoy reading and discussing books. Our general meeting date/time is the first Thursday of each month, from 10:00-11:30am. We vote on our yearly book list in September, and take turns hosting discussions throughout the year.

SSC Wellness Club | This group will focus on aspects of personal health to include physical and mental well-being. It is a page of support and information to provide self-motivating behaviors.

SSC Disney Club | We are a group of enthusiastic Disney lovers. However, you don't have to go to Disney all the time to join us! Like Disney movies? Like Mickey in general? Join us! We will have something for all levels of Disney geeks, enthusiasts, and just general fans!

Evening Activities | The plan for this group is to meet at least once monthly in the evening. I will post a poll at the beginning of each month (first one being in September) with options for our outings and dates.

Taco Club | We are a group who loves to eat tacos of all kinds! We will meet monthly, alternating daytimes and evenings and will go out and try tacos at different restaurants in the local area. Only kind of like Tacos? Just want to get out of the house?
