Our events are meant to promote connection. This is your time to get to know other members and you'll be up and moving around a lot! "Babies in buckets" who are six months and under are welcome to accompany you. For your convenience, children from six weeks through Pre-K are eligible to attend childcare with our partners at the The Learning Tree.
Wanting to attend a morning event, but need care for your little one(s)? We've partnered with O'Fallon First United Methodist Church and their Parents Morning Out program to provide care during our social events!
Simply click below to see their calendar, and reserve your spot on the day of our social event. The cost to SSC members is $25 and includes a light snack.
**Please note: When you make your childcare reservation, please indicate in the notes that you are attending the Scott Spouses' Club event. PMO stays open until 12:30 for our members on our program days, and they need to know for staffing purposes (and so you do not incur a late fee) how many children will be there for our events.**
A limited number of childcare scholarships are available to reduce or remove the cost of childcare for active SSC members to attend monthly socials. Members must submit an application each month they wish to receive the benefit. Benefits will be awarded based on need and the number of applicants.
All applications must be received by the first of the month.
Please email your completed application to email@example.com
Members must submit application each month they wish to attend a social to receive benefits
Benefits will be awarded based on need and number of applicants
Benefits are paid directly to The Learning Tree, recipients will not receive any money directly
Applicants must apply by the 1st of the month to allow for approval and communication with The Learning Tree.
Applications will be emailed to social treasurer (or appointed chair) and then anonymously submitted to the Executive Board
All applicants will be approved by the Executive Board prior to receiving any benefits
The funds available for each social will be the total budget, divided by the number of socials remaining in the year
If more applicants apply than available funds, either partial childcare fees will be paid out to all, or assistance will be given first to those who have not used scholarship benefits previously
Funds will be divided between all approved applicants’ first child before multiple children from same applicant will be allotted funds. If there is still money available, it will be divided between applicants’ second child applied for, and so forth
If all funds are not used for a social, they will roll over to the next social
